3250 South Street

Both adjoining lots are included in the sale, offering approximately 1.8 acres in the peaceful community of Quincy, Indiana. This unique U-shaped property provides a manicured, park-like setting with an open meadow, established goldfish pond, firepit and several peaceful seating areas where you can relax and enjoy frequent visits from deer, rabbits, falcons, eagles and other local wildlife. The property was once the site of a gymnasium reportedly built in 1902. Although the building is no longer standing, remnants of its history remain, including a large supply of old brick that could be repurposed for a future project. An approximately 26' x 28' detached garage/utility building features electricity throughout, a gas range, large refrigerator and spacious stand-up shower. Electricity is also extended by utility pole toward the center of the property, with an RV connection and additional outlets. The seller reports an approximately 100-foot well, a precast septic tank and a large underground cistern. The open meadow offers space for gardening, recreation or possible small livestock, subject to applicable zoning and county requirements. Located within walking distance of the local post office and church, approximately 10 minutes from Cloverdale and about 40 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport and I-465. Cataract Falls, McCormick’s Creek State Park and other recreational destinations are also within approximately one hour. Whether you are looking for a peaceful retreat, recreational getaway, storage space or land on which to bring your future vision to life, this distinctive property deserves an in-person visit. Refrigerator and gas range are included. Property is being sold as-is. Buyers should independently verify acreage, boundaries, zoning, permitted uses, utility systems and building or septic requirements.
